What I mean is, what makes a difference between those ratings? Nudity? Violence level? Drug usage? What are the things that separates these 2 ratings?what makes a game get MATURE or ADULT ON ...

SERIOUSLY???well i say what makes M games is you know Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Language, Sexual Content, and Drug Abuse most of the time but i think 1 thing changes M games to AO that ive see: Nudity. One example I have seen was GTA San Andreas that made people flip out so bad was the hot coffee mod. It was so controversal that the ESRB HAD to make it AO.
Yeah, that makes sense.
They wanted to make Manhunt 2 Adult Only because of the EXCESSIVE violence.
But why God of War and Conan aren't adult only? There are boobs in those games, isn't that... you know... nudity? And they're pretty violent too.

A little nudity is usally ok. It's when you have a lot of it, or showing any sex that it gets AO (see the AO versions of Leisure Suit Larry or Indigo Prophecy/Farenheit). Manhunt 2 is the first game I've seen where it got AO because of violence, but I think that's because it was more realistic then something like God of War or Mortal Kombat.

well usually its sex full blown uncensored sex gets the AO and pretty much anything else gets a M rating its funny how that works some people act like its the end of the world. they would rather see little kids being blown away with a shotgun then sex.

Thanks, it comes naturally lol

I think the point there was that the breasts weren't necessarily being displayed in a sexual context.
As for the ESRB, I always think of this one fairly old game (came out around 2000?) called Soulbringer. It was a third-person action-RPG for the PC that drew comparisons to Diablo but had a slightly higher emphasis on character interaction. You could take a pickaxe in that game and literally knock someone's head off, causing blood to spurt everywhere. For the life of me, I will never understand how that game got a Teen rating, whereas numerous other, less bloody games got (and are getting) Mature ratings.
