MW2 mp maps?

Does anyone know how many maps have been confirmed for Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer? I'm just wondering.MW2 mp maps?

If they meant it'll have more than OD4 shipped with, then it won't be 17. Didn't it ship with like 6-7 maps?

I think this is right....theres NO WAY the game WILL SHIP with more than 17 games. ESPECIALLY with a map pack already announced!

They are hoping to have them done for a spring release, but thats no guarantee. The alternative would be to wait til Spring 2010 to get the game, just to have a few extra maps. I dont think that would be worth it at all.

This kind of thing sells copies.

i think the director as said there is more then cod4 at launch. when he was asked how maps will be in mw2 he basically said hes not allowed to say the number but there is more then mw1
