stuck in batman arkham asylum

poison ivy boss battle.. ive tried 10 times already but cant beat itstuck in batman arkham asylum
u get rid of the guards, dodge the vines and when the giant flower straighten up and shoots at u, throw ur batarangs at it, hit ivy when the shield thing opens up, get to no the pattern n it would b much easier stuck in batman arkham asylum

Go watch a youtube video of it and it will help you know what to do. ;-)
Every so often the main bulb will open, and you will notice Ivy is inside of it. When it opens, quickly throw a batterang at her. After a few of them she falls to the ground, spray her with the explosive gel, blow her up. Repeat.Also, a side note, when you see the ground moving around, quickly dive onto an area that is safer, seeing how vines will pop up and grab you. From what I remember, even just the initial grab is enough to take away about a quarter of your health. When guards show up this process is a bit easier, hop over them to gain a lot more ground on Ivy's vines and send them flying into a death trap.

Also, kicking guards off the ledge might be a little faster and I think you can throw multiple batarangs at ivy, not just one at a time.
also two things to add...1) Don't waste your time aiming the batarang just use the quick throw with a quick double click of the left trigger and it will auto aim and hit the bulb.2) Quick throw the batarang even when the bulb is closed...it takes Ivy down slower than hitting her with the bulb open but it does count.Every moment that you are not dodging one or more of the energy balls or fighting a henchman or dodging her vines you should be flinging the batarang at the flower.

Just blindly throw the tripple batarangs at her and they should auto hit her..repeat process like everyone else said. Beat the game and it was a blast...wait till the finisher with Joker..Ugly thing he is!
poison ivy is proberely the most difficult boss in the game i would say..the joker at the end is a doddle compered to poison ivy in my opinion
i beat the battle right after i gave it another shot after posting this..thanks for the help

im at the final battle of the game where is joker is big and you have to pull him down while hes turned around
