Borderlands to fallout 3

Why are people comparing fallout 3 to borderlands? Because the atmosphere is sorta the same? These games are nothing alike. Borderalnds is mainly a shooter with some rpg elements and fallout 3 is a mix of both. People are saying that teh graphics in borderalnds ''suck'' because they aren't photo realistic, not every game has to try and have the best graphics. It's good to have a cartoony game every now and then.Borderlands to fallout 3
There's a topic right below youBorderlands to fallout 3
You read what i said? The other topic is comparing them, im asking why is everyone comparing them when there totally different
Any one who says the graphics in Borderlands suck probably hasn't played the game. If they have played it and still think the graphics suckthen they must be either half blind or retarded.I dont know why people have to compare Borderlands and Fallout 3, both game are great.
C: Who knows, the games are barely anything alike besides very small things.

Perhaps they liked Borderlands' non-celshaded look better. I can't say.

At any rate people have compared the atmosphere, yes, and the idea of a first-person shooter with role-playing elements, yes.

Except that Fallout 3 actually told a story and emphasized that as much as it emphasized combat (perhaps more so, considering how some players and reviewers complained about the game having clunky combat outside of the V.A.T.S. mode, a statement with which I only marginally agree). Borderlands, on the other hand, reminds me more of a first-person variant of Diablo -- the emphasis is on gathering items and growing your character, not on making a personal impact on the game world.
Not sure. Borderlands looks better and plays better, so it's best not to even compare 'em. Oh crap, I'm comparing!
Yeah, Borderlands is like a combination of Diablo and Halo, Fallout 3 is like Oblivion with guns.
The TC said Borderlands is a shooter with RPG elements while F3 is a mix of both.... You just said they are both the same thing a shooter and RPG.
Fallout 3 Is Superb Borderlands Seems 2 have more action
Yeah, Borderlands is like a combination of Diablo and Halo, Fallout 3 is like Oblivion with guns.
Inasmuch as I can tell, the similarities end, and drastically so, once each game is established as an open-ended first-person/third-person action-RPG.
It's just because people see the wasteland environment and automatically think ''OMG POST APOCALYPTIC SHOOTER!1!1 FALLOUT 3 RIP OFF!1! LOLOLOL'' and don't take the time to see that it's not even post-apocalyptic at all.

In fact, everyone whines when a post apocalyptic game is mentioned these days (Rage or Metro 2033 for example).Post apocalyptic is a genre...not like Fallout is supposed to be the only game like that. That's like saying Battlefield is a rip off of Call of Duty, because it's a military war game...
